Heart rhythm problems (arrhythmia)

Heart rhythm issues, known as arrhythmias, occur when your heart beats either too fast or too slow, or if the rhythm is uneven. While they may not always be serious, it's advisable to consult a GP if you believe you are experiencing symptoms. There are various forms of heart rhythm disturbances. You might experience a rapid heartbeat (tachycardia), a slow heartbeat (bradycardia), or an irregular heartbeat with varying rhythms. Experiencing these symptoms does not automatically indicate that you have a heart rhythm problem.
