Dr Anup Mazumdar is a versatile GP with extensive experience across various fields. His diverse background includes work in cardiology, respiratory medicine, gastroenterology, elderly care, surgery, orthopaedics, paediatrics, A&E, and gynaecology. Throughout his career, Dr Mazumdar has served in both NHS and private GP clinics, providing comprehensive medical services and contributing to private health screening initiatives. Notably, he has played an active role in medical education and training by mentoring medical students and facilitating the setup of mock OSCEs (Objective Structured Clinical Examinations), offering guidance and support in their professional development. In his previous role as head of education, Dr Mazumdar led initiatives aimed at helping fellow GPs stay updated with the latest advancements in the field through additional training programs.
