About Mr Aditya Raja

Mr Aditya Raja is a highly experienced, patient-centred Consultant Urologist based in Harrogate, where he sees private patients at The Duchy Hospital and Harrogate Harlow. His practice covers the full spectrum of urological conditions, with particular expertise in kidney stone disease, bladder outflow obstruction (prostate) surgery, UroLift, haematuria (blood in the urine) and recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs). He also provides specialist care in men’s health, including circumcision and scrotal surgery, offering personalised treatment plans that combine medical management with modern minimally invasive techniques. Mr Raja has 18 years of surgical experience. He graduated from Imperial College London with an MBBS and an intercalated BSc (Hons), and completed his higher specialist urology training within the Yorkshire and Humber Deanery, where he developed extensive expertise in stone disease, prostate conditions and bladder pathology. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and holds key leadership roles as Surgical Clinical Digital Lead and Urology Clinical Governance Lead at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust, contributing to service development, quality improvement and patient safety A strong advocate of shared decision-making, Mr Raja is known for his calm, approachable manner and clear communication style.
