About Mr Ravi Ray
Mr Ravi Ray is a distinguished consultant upper limb orthopaedic surgeon based in Brentwood who specialises in shoulder and elbow surgery. Included in his areas of expertise are bursitis, rotator cuff tears, shoulder and elbow osteoarthritis, labral tears, and peripheral nerve entrapment. He is also an expert in clavicle fractures, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, and sports injuries. With over 20 years’ experience, Mr Ray consults privately at Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital as well as at other renowned private hospitals in the area. His NHS base is at Basildon University Hospital and he also serves as a doctor for England Boxing and the London Irish Rugby Football Club. Mr Ray qualified in 2001 and completed his training in London and the South East of England. He holds Diplomas in Trauma and Orthopaedics, as well as in Sports and Exercise Medicine, and undertook prestigious fellowships in upper limb surgery at Southampton University Hospitals and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals.
