Mr John Pradeep Vedraj Edwin is an accomplished consultant orthopaedic surgeon based at Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital, in Essex. Specialising in shoulder surgery, he is particularly skilled in rotator cuff repair, shoulder replacement, and arthroscopic subacromial decompression. In addition to his expertise in shoulder conditions, Mr Edwin also treats a variety of upper limb issues, including trigger finger release, tennis elbow release, and Dupuytren's contracture. Mr Edwin’s medical and orthopaedic education began in India, followed by advanced training at renowned centres of excellence in Liverpool, Exeter, and London. He completed fellowships in complex trauma, shoulder and elbow surgery, and wrist and hand surgery at prestigious institutions including King’s College Hospital in London and Nottingham. These formative experiences have equipped him with the expertise to manage a wide range of complex upper and lower limb conditions, ensuring that his patients benefit from the latest surgical techniques and treatments available. A passionate educator, Mr Edwin is also committed to training the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons. He is an appointed Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at New Vision University, Georgia, and a faculty member in FRCS Trauma and Orthopaedic courses at institutions such as King's College Hospital, Medway Hospital, and Luton Hospital. Additionally, he serves as a Clinical and Educational Supervisor for junior orthopaedic trainees. His involvement in research and international lectures further supports his reputation as a leading expert in the field.
