About Dr Christopher Scott

Dr Christopher Scott is a distinguished Consultant Genitourinary Medicine Physician based in London. His areas of expertise encompass the entirety of Sexual Health and Genitourinary Medicine, including the testing and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), male genital dermatology, HIV medicine including antiretroviral therapy and HIV pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis, and high-resolution anoscopy. Dr Scott provides private consultations at Welbeck Women and Men’s Health and at samedaydoctor City Clinic. With over two and a half decades of experience, he also practises at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, where he previously held the management position of Genitourinary Medicine Service Director for seven years. Notably, Dr Scott established a high-resolution anoscopy service within a west London clinic and is a member of the Chelsea Anal Neoplasia Service (CANS), which provides screening and treatment for patients with anal neoplasia. Dr Scott obtained his Medical Bachelor of Science (MBBS) from the University of London in 2001. He studied medicine at University College Hospital, London, and underwent training in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Furthermore, he holds an esteemed fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and has acquired postgraduate diplomas in Genitourinary Medicine from the Society of Apothecaries and the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. Additionally, Dr Scott is a member of both the British HIV Association and the British Association of Sexual Health and HIV. He has also been a co-investigator on multiple Phase 3 clinical trials focused on antiretroviral medications.
