About Professor John Gribben
Professor John Gribben is a leading haematologist based in London. He currently sees patients at London Haematology which is based at The London Clinic. He specialises in haematological cancers including lymphomas, leukaemias and bone marrow transplantation. Professor John Gribben graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1980. He also trained in haematology at University College London and in medical oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School. Professor Gribben remained on the faculty for 17 years before returning to the UK. He has written over 300 articles and chapters in peer-reviewed publications and is renowned for his new drugs and forms of cancer treatment. He has grant funding from The National Cancer Institute and Cancer Research UK for pioneering studies in lymphoma and leukaemia. He has sat on and chaired numerous international executive committees dedicated to investigating new methods of cancer care and many editorial boards for professional publications which are focused on cancer.He He has lectured across the world on new therapies for cancer treatment. In addition to his lectures, Professor Gribben has published more than 300 chapters and articles in peer-reviewed publications. He has also sat on and chaired several of the editorial boards for professional publications focused on cancer.
