About Ms Anupama Shahid

Mrs Anupama Shahid is a renowned consultant gynaecologist based at the Nuffield Health The Holly Private Hospital. She manages a wide range of general gynaecological conditions, including endometriosis, menstrual disorders, uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts. Her specialist interests include infertility and reproductive medicine, early pregnancy care, menopause and post-reproductive health, as well as minimally invasive surgery. Mrs Shahid is highly trained in advanced hysteroscopic procedures, benign gynaecology and laparoscopic surgery. Alongside her clinical work, Mrs Shahid serves as Clinical Director for the Gynaecology Network at Barts Health NHS Trust, London. She is also an educational preceptor in emergency gynaecology for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Mrs Shahid is actively involved in research and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. Her research interests span reproductive medicine, minimally invasive surgery, gynaecological ultrasound, emergency gynaecology, oncology and obstetrics, and she is currently undertaking a research project focused on laparoscopic surgery.
