About Dr Adam Humphries
Dr Adam Humphries, is a highly skilled consultant gastroenterologist and specialist endoscopist based in London. He possesses more than 20 years of experience and has become a trusted and respected figure in the field of gastroenterology and endoscopy. Dr Humphries diagnoses and treats a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions affecting the upper and lower gut and receives referrals from other consultants for his expertise in endoscopy and polyp removal. He is the Director of Endoscopy at St Mark’s, The National Bowel Hospital, and has extensive experience and expertise in endoscopy, colonoscopy, bowel cancer screening, polyp removal, video capsule endoscopy and double balloon enteroscopy. He began his medical studies at Imperial College Medical School, graduating in 2002. He later undertook a PhD at the prestigious University College London, and was successfully awarded this in 2012. Dr Humphries is still an active researcher with interests in bowel cancer prevention, the development of pre-cancerous growths within the gut, and the diagnosis and treatment of small bowel diseases.
