Dr Steven Mann is a seasoned consultant gastroenterologist with nearly 20 years of experience in both NHS and private healthcare settings. He completed his postgraduate training at several North London hospitals, including dedicated research tenure at the prestigious St Mark’s Hospital. Since 2003, he has served as a consultant at Barnet Hospital, where he oversees inpatient and outpatient care, endoscopy services, and emergency gastroenterology. Dr Mann holds multiple leadership positions, such as site lead for Clinical Nutrition, clinical lead for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), and previously served as endoscopy training lead. He plays an active role in postgraduate medical education, acting as an educational supervisor and honorary senior lecturer within University College London’s Department of Medicine. In private practice at Hadley Wood Hospital, Dr Mann provides patients with expert, accessible, and personalised care. He offers consultations on a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, utilizing his extensive expertise as both a gastroenterologist and general physician. His academic contributions are substantial, with over 30 peer-reviewed articles, 30 abstracts, and more than 50 poster presentations at both national and international medical conferences.
