About Mr Stephen Morris

Mr Stephen Morris is a consultant spinal surgeon based in Bristol. He completed his orthopaedic training in the Bristol region before undertaking specialist spinal fellowships in Brisbane, Australia, and Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. Additionally, he obtained a postgraduate diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine. Mr. Morris specialises in the management of degenerative spinal conditions, spinal deformity, spinal fractures, spinal tumours, and spinal infections. He is passionate about teaching and training surgeons and healthcare professionals, serving as a faculty member for national and international courses. He has a strong research interest in spinal conditions, focusing on degenerative issues, spinal deformities, and trauma. Mr. Morris is a member of the British Association of Spine Surgeons, the British Scoliosis Society, and the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Currently, Mr. Morris practices at Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital and is a consultant at Southmead Hospital, Bristol, as well as Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. He also leads the Severn Regional Spine Network, furthering his commitment to advancing spinal care.
