About Dr Silvia Pierini

Dr Silvia Pierini is an internationally known and regarded consultant in general paediatrics, practising at her own private clinic in London, Dr Silvia Pierini Clinic. Her specialties are primarily general paediatrics, neonatology, newborn physical examination, infant nutrition, infections, milk intolerance, and she is extra certified in breastfeeding specialisation. Dr Pierini first received her medical qualification from the University of Pisa in 1991, and continued to receive specialised training whilst in Italy. She eventually became a consultant and practised in paediatrics and neonatology at various hospitals around Italy. In 2010, Dr Pierini relocated to the UK where she practised as a fellow in paediatrics and neonates until becoming a consultant with the University of Cambridge West Suffolk Hospital in 2015. In 2019, Dr Pierini decided to open a private paediatric clinic in central London utilising her more than 30 years of experience and extensive certifications and qualifications. Dr Pierini offers services from the day new parents take home their newborn child through the child's years growing and developing. She prides herself on providing the best quality care for her patients and their families. If a child is too ill to travel to her clinic, she will offer telephone support. Dr Pierini also offers same-day emergency appointments for sick children. Due to being bilingual in English and Italian, as well as conversational level in Spanish, Dr Pierini has been able to work with other clinics that treat non-English speakers.
