Miss Shreya Haldar is an accomplished consultant ophthalmologist based in London and Reading, seeing patients at The London Clinic Eye Centre, Circle Reading Hospital, Spire Dunedin Hospital and The Clinic Holland Park. She specialises in glaucoma and cataracts, with expertise in cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery and laser glaucoma treatments and YAG laser capsulotomy. Her clinical practice is focused on delivering safe, precise and personalised care using modern surgical and laser techniques. Alongside her private practice, Miss Haldar is Glaucoma Lead and serves as Clinical Lead for Ophthalmology at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. She is experienced in both traditional and modern glaucoma surgery, including trabeculectomy and aqueous shunt procedures, and has been actively involved in the adoption of novel treatments. Her approach combines evidence-based medicine with the latest technological advances to achieve the best possible outcomes for her patients. Miss Haldar trained at Imperial College London before completing her specialist ophthalmic training in the Oxford Deanery under pioneers of modern cataract surgery. Miss Haldar completed a subspecialist fellowship in glaucoma in the Oxford region. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and a Member of the Royal College of Physicians, and serves as the Oxford regional representative to the Royal College council. Passionate about education, Miss Haldar regularly lectures at King’s College London, reflecting her commitment to clinical excellence, leadership and teaching.
