About Mr Ricci Plastow
Mr Ricci Plastow is a leading consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon based in London. His areas of expertise include hip replacement, knee replacement, ACL reconstruction, meniscal surgery, cartilage repair, joint preservation through osteotomy, patellofemoral stabilisation, and robotic-assisted surgery. Mr Plastow, who consults privately at Outpatients and Diagnostics and at The Princess Grace Hospital, originally qualified with an MBBS from The University of Manchester in 2008. He completed nine years of extensive hip and knee surgery training, spanning from 2010 to 2019, before going on to accomplish two prestigious fellowships: an international fellowship in Canada in soft tissue knee sports injuries and a clinical fellowship in London in arthroplasty and robotic surgery. With a commitment to surgical excellence, Mr Plastow also holds fellowship to the Royal College of Surgeons of England since 2017, reflecting his adherence to the best practices in the field of trauma and orthopaedic surgery.
