Miss Reena Kumari is a highly experienced consultant oculoplastic, lacrimal, and orbital surgeon at University Hospital Birmingham, where she also holds the role of clinical service lead for ophthalmology. With in-depth subspecialist training in oculoplastic surgery, Miss Kumari offers a high level of expertise and precision in her field. Her advanced fellowship in Leicester, along with additional training at renowned institutions such as UCLA and Moorfields Eye Hospital, reflects her dedication to delivering exceptional patient care. Miss Kumari began her medical career by earning a degree in Medicine, followed by specialist training in Ophthalmology. She then undertook a Fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery in Leicester to further refine her skills. She holds a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Ophthalmology, placing her among a select group of doctors in the UK on the GMC Specialist Register for Ophthalmology with accredited training in Oculoplastic Surgery.
