About Dr Ravi Dandamudi
Dr Ravi Dandamudi is a senior consultant clinical oncologist seeing patients at Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital. He specialises in treating breast, prostate, bladder and ureteric cancers, utilising a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy (SABR), MR Linac, hormone therapy, and immunotherapy, alongside providing lifestyle advice for his patients. Dr Dandamudi qualified in 1996 from the University of Health Sciences and trained in the West Midlands. Alongside his oncological expertise, Dr Dandamudi is a diplomate of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine and the American Society of Lifestyle Medicine. He is a clinical lead for radiotherapy and oligometastatic SABR. He is also the deputy chair of the West Midlands Cancer Alliance Breast Expert Advisory Group. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Dandamudi participates in medical education, content creation, and research. He is a clinical tutor and examiner for the Royal College of Radiologists, and a senior academy tutor and honorary senior lecturer at the University of Birmingham for fourth-year medical students. He is a co-founder of The Impact Show, a podcast that strives to inspire, educate, and promote community health and cancer survivorship. He is the Principal Investigator in a Phase 2 feasibility trial examining exercise in chemotherapy patients, and contributed to the POETIC-A Study Bladder Trial, OPTIMA, ATNEC Breast cancer trials.
