About Dr Peter Morgan

Dr Peter Morgan is a dedicated GP consultant and musculoskeletal and sports physician based in West Sussex. He is the clinic director at The Oving Medical Clinic, where he offers expert care in musculoskeletal medicine, sports injuries, ultrasound assessment of injury, and image-guided injections. Dr Morgan has a special interest in helping patients recover from pain and regain mobility through targeted, evidence-based treatments. Originally from Wales, Dr Morgan trained at Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospitals in London and completed his medical degree at the University of London in 2000. Following diverse clinical experience across medical and surgical specialties in both the UK and Australia, he chose to specialise in general practice in 2007. He holds a consultant GP post at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Trust, where he works in the emergency department and plays a key role in the development and leadership of the Urgent Treatment Centres, while also mentoring and supervising junior doctors and advanced clinical practitioners. With over 25 years of medical experience, Dr Morgan has continually advanced his clinical skills with a focus on musculoskeletal health. He holds a Diploma in Sports Medicine, a Postgraduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, and was awarded Membership of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2018. Known for his holistic and patient-centred approach, he is dedicated to providing personalised care that empowers individuals to return to the activities they enjoy with improved health and confidence.
