About Mr Paul Harnett

Mr Paul Harnett is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic London. He specialises in hip replacement, knee replacement, major traumamanagement, complex fractures, and sports injuries. Mr Harnett qualified from the University of Bristol Medical School in 2002, and completed his trauma and orthopaedic training on the Imperial College North West Thames rotation. In 2010, he became a fellow of the the Royal College of Surgeons, and in the same year he undertook a fellowship at the Beit Cure Orthopaedic Hospital in Malawai, providing essential orthopaedic surgery for children. He completed further fellowships in 2012 – 2014 with the Vancouver General Hospital, Hospital of Special Surgery in New York, Elective Orthopaedic Centre in Epsom, and Royal London Hospital. Mr Harnett was appointed consultant at the King’s College Hospital in 2014, where he has continuously honed his skills in hip and knee arthroplasties, ligament surgery, pelvis and acetabular reconstructions. In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Harnett researches new enhancements to wound healing, and is a reviewer for several orthopaedic publications.
