Mr Parag Kumar Jaiswal is an award-winning Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in London and Essex, specialising in hip and knee surgery. He has particular expertise in minimally invasive hip and knee replacements, revision hip replacements, keyhole (arthroscopic) surgery, and sports injury treatment. His areas of specialist interest include joint preservation surgery, cartilage regeneration, meniscal repair, ACL reconstruction, and hip impingement with labral repair. Mr Jaiswal offers private consultations and surgery at several leading hospitals, including Nuffield Health Highgate Hospital, The Holly Hospital, St John & St Elizabeth Hospital, London Bridge Hospital (HCA Healthcare UK), and the Royal Free Private Patients Unit. His NHS base is at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. At the Royal Free, Mr Jaiswal leads the Young Adult Hip in close collaboration with University College Hospital and Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. He serves as the Lead for Hip Fractures with the aim to improve care of this group of frail patients. He is the highest-volume hip arthroscopist within the Trust and is frequently referred complex cases from other orthopaedic surgeons. Mr Jaiswal completed his specialist orthopaedic training on the prestigious Stanmore Training Programme before undertaking a fellowship in Calgary, Canada, a world-renowned centre for hip and knee reconstruction and arthroscopy. He was awarded the British Orthopaedic Association Soli Lam Travelling Fellowship in recognition of his excellence in surgical innovation and training. A second fellowship at Frimley Park Hospital further refined his advanced skills in complex hip and knee surgery. In 2018, he was selected for the British Hip Society Travelling Fellowship, allowing him to train at The Steadman-Philipon Clinic in Vail, USA — one of the world’s foremost institutions for sports hip and knee surgery — under globally recognised experts Dr Marc Philippon and Dr Joel Matta.
