About Mr Olumide Ofinran
Mr Olumide Ofinran is a consultant gynaecologist and subspecialist gynaecological oncologist based in Wolverhampton, UK. He practises at Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital, where he is also the deputy chair of the Medical Advisory Committee and gynaecology lead. His specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology took place in London, Glasgow and the West Midlands, followed by subspecialty fellowship training in gynaecological oncology in Leicester. He also completed translational ovarian cancer research at the University of Nottingham. He currently leads the gynaecological oncology multidisciplinary team (MDT) at the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust and has extensive expertise in managing both benign and malignant gynaecological conditions. Mr Ofinran is particularly skilled in laparoscopic and robotic surgery, and regularly treats conditions such as fibroids, ovarian cysts, menstrual disorders and gynaecological cancers. His clinical interests also include colposcopy, hysteroscopy, hysterectomy and endometrial ablation. Outside of clinical work, he is actively involved in medical leadership, research and community service, and serves as the medical director of The Esther Centre for Women’s Health.
