About Mr Nima Abbassi-Ghadi
Mr Nima Abbassi-Ghadi is a distinguished consultant upper GI surgeon based in London. His areas of expertise include heartburn, gallstones, hernias, functional oesophageal disorders, and upper GI cancer. Additionally, he is also highly proficient in laparoscopic/robotic surgery, as well as numerous diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including endoscopy, hiatal hernia surgery, and abdominal wall reconstruction. With over 15 years of experience, Mr Abbassi-Ghadi consults privately at Cleveland Clinic London Hospital. After obtaining his medical degree at The University of Nottingham, he completed his higher specialist training in London, where he acquired skill in advanced surgical techniques, including minimally invasive surgery. Notably, Mr Abbassi-Ghadi went on to receive the prestigious the ALSGBI Braun Aesculap international fellowship, which allowed him to train at the renowned National Cancer Centre in Seoul, Korea.
