About Dr Nele Dumpert

Dr Nele Dumpert is a dedicated gynaecologist based in London, practising privately at the Oval Medical Centre. With extensive expertise in women’s health, she provides comprehensive care for menstrual disorders, menopause, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), as well as expert contraceptive advice including IUD insertion and removal. Dr Dumpert is known for her patient-centred and holistic approach, offering evidence-based medical care tailored to each woman’s individual needs and stage of life. Dr Dumpert’s passion for women’s health began during a formative year volunteering at a rural hospital in Zimbabwe, where she assisted in deliveries and supported expectant mothers. She went on to qualify in medicine at Christian-Albrechts-University in Germany, and completed her specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2011. Her international experience spans Germany, Switzerland, Australia, Luxembourg, and the UK, across both NHS and private healthcare settings. She currently holds a consultant post in Community Gynaecology and Sexual and Reproductive Health at Oxleas NHS Trust and works as a consultant colposcopist at Homerton Hospital in East London. Combining conventional medicine with an integrative philosophy, Dr Dumpert focuses on identifying the underlying causes of hormonal and reproductive concerns. She incorporates functional medicine principles, nutritional and lifestyle interventions, and body-identical hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to support women’s wellbeing. Dedicated to education and empowerment, she is a member of professional bodies including FSRH, FEMM Health, NFPTA, BMS, and BSCCP, and was recognised with the Oxleas Excellence in Medical Education Award in 2022.
