Mr Mayur Chawda is a highly experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon based in Cheshire, practising at Nuffield Health The Grosvenor Hospital, Chester. Specialising in hip and knee surgery, Mr Chawda has particular expertise in knee replacement, knee arthroscopy, hip revision surgery, and arthroscopic procedures for sports injuries. With a meticulous approach and commitment to patient-centred care, he performs over 200 hip and knee replacements annually, establishing himself as a trusted expert in the field. Mr Chawda’s extensive training includes specialist fellowships in hip and knee surgery in Brisbane, Australia, and Hanover, Germany, as well as six years on the prestigious Leeds Specialist Registrar rotation. He has delivered a comprehensive range of procedures including ACL reconstruction, meniscal repair, and partial or PSI knee replacements. In the NHS, he serves as Lead Clinician for Trauma and Orthopaedics at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, where he also contributes to departmental leadership and service development.
