About Dr Kathrin Hammer

Dr Kathrin Hammer is a highly revered consultant radiologist with expertise in MRI scans, ultrasound scans, spinal MRI scans and injections, imaging of sports injuries, CT scans, and musculoskeletal ultrasound scans. She currently practises at Alliance Medical Cardiff. Dr Hammer successfully completed bachelor of science degree in chemistry at the University of Bonn in Germany in 1990, before going on to obtain an MBCHB from the same university a year later. She then notably achieved an MD in 1992, again from the University of Bonn. Dr Hammer, who also specialises in orthopaedic radiology, is a member of the British Society of Skeletal Radiologists, the British Sarcoma Group, the Royal College of Radiologists, and the South Wales Radiology Group, She has, to date, published a high volume of peer-reviewed articles in established medical journals and publications.
