About Dr Joshua Plaut

Dr Joshua Plaut is a highly experienced and well-regarded general practitioner who specialises in all aspects of general practice. He currently practises at Eisman Myers GP Practice located at Golders Green Outpatients and Diagnostics Centre and at Elstree Waterfront Outpatients Centre. Dr Plaut completed his pre-clinical training at Cambridge University before graduating from the Royal Free and University College Medical School in 2001. Prior to becoming a GP, he trained in general, vascular, and neurosurgery. He is particularly interested in managing patients with complex needs, reducing polypharmacy (too many medications) and all aspects of family medicine. He is SCOPE certified in obesity management. His other main areas of interest and expertise include: Men’s Health Paediatrics Mental Health and anxiety Elderly Care medicine Weight management Neurological conditions Dr Plaut offers patients same-day appointments, investigations including blood tests, ECG and imaging, as well as quick referrals to some of the most established and most highly regarded hospitals, specialists, and consultants.
