About Dr Jibu Varghese

Dr Jibu Varghese is a consultant dermatologist based in Dorchester. He is highly skilled in the diagnosis and management of HI skin cancers and performs laser treatments. In addition, Dr Varghese is an expert in cosmetic dermatology, Moh’s micrographic surgery, hair disorders, dermoscopy, psoriasis, eczema, general dermatology, biological therapies, laser treatments, cryotherapy and wrinkle-smoothing injections. Dr Varghese is a fully competent dermatological surgeon and is highly skilled in curettage and cautery, skin graft and flap surgery and other advanced skin closure techniques. He has worked in the dermatology department of several district general hospitals, four large teaching hospitals and in two countries. Dr Varghese completed his dermatology training in South West England. He underwent intensive training in skin cancer surgery. This included Moh’s micrographic surgery at the prestigious Welsh Institute of Dermatology in Cardiff. During his training, he worked alongside leading dermatologists. Dr Varghese is actively involved in teaching both undergraduates, postgraduates, specialist registrars, nurses, general practitioners and medical specialists with a special interest in dermatology. Dr Varghese is actively involved in collaborative research, audits, and publications.
