Ms Jhumur Pati is an extensively practised consultant urological surgeon based in London. She is one of few female specialists in the field of urology. Ms Pati is an expert in all aspects of urology and assists patients with a wide range of conditions, including cystitis, prostatitis, male infertility, haematuria (blood in urine), Peyronie's disease, benign prostatic enlargement, testicular pain, male infertility and urological cancer. In fact, she is one of five designated pelvic cancer surgeons in the network and is the urological oncology lead at Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Ms Pati also dedicates her career to research, particularly the research of prostate cancer and bladder cancer. Additionally, she participates in the teaching and training of future specialists. Throughout her career, she has gained leading proficiency in numerous procedures. This includes vasectomy, prostatectomy (prostate removal), hydrocele surgery, epididymal cysts removal and diagnostic tests, such as cystoscopy for bladder cancer investigations.
