About Miss Jane Anderson
Miss Jane Anderson is a consultant urological surgeon in Leamington Spa. She has expertise in benign prostate enlargement, prostate cancer, and urinary tract infections, alongside overactive bladder, paediatric urology, erectile dysfunction, testicular conditions and female urology. She privately practises at Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital while her NHS base is South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust. Her clinical practice covers the full range of male and female urological conditions. She manages urinary infections, lower urinary tract symptoms, benign prostate hyperplasia, PSA investigations for suspected prostate cancer, haematuria, female incontinence, penile and testicular problems, erectile dysfunction and functional urology. She has a particular subspecialist interest in men’s health, including erectile dysfunction and urethral conditions. She offers minimally invasive treatments such as Rezum, as well as conventional TURP, for men with lower urinary tract dysfunction. Miss Anderson holds several professional memberships, including the British Association of Urological Surgeons, the Royal College of Surgeons England, the British Medical Association and the Royal Society of Medicine. She also serves as Chair of Governance for the Elective Division at Warwick Hospital. Her academic and surgical training began with a Master of Arts with Honours in Psychology at the University of St Andrews. She went on to study medicine at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Schools of Medicine and Dentistry, completing her MBBS in 2005. She achieved MRCS before undertaking core surgical training in the Wessex Deanery. She pursued an MD at the University of Birmingham, focusing on prostate, bladder and renal cancer, to broaden her medical and surgical understanding. Her specialty urology training was completed in the West Midlands Deanery, following which she gained FRCS (Urol). Miss Anderson now brings extensive experience to her multidisciplinary urology practice, offering comprehensive assessment and treatment for adults and children with a wide spectrum of urological conditions.
