About Ms Evangelia Bakali

Ms Evangelia Bakali is a leading consultant gynaecologist based in Birmingham who specialises in colposcopy and laparoscopic (keyhole surgery) hysterectomy procedures, having performed over 600 laparoscopies and 1,000 hysteroscopies since 2008. She is also experienced in performing robotic-assisted surgeries, including robotic laparoscopies and hysterectomies. With expertise in gynaecological conditions, she is qualified in the treatment and management of gynaecological cancers as well as endometriosis, menopause and menstrual disorders. Ms Bakali qualified from the University of Leicester in 2006. An accredited colposcopist, Ms Bakali is a core member of the oncology and colposcopy MDTs at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS, where she is also the hysteroscopy lead. Further to her main areas of expertise, Ms Bakali is able to perform smear tests, cervix treatments for cervical pathology and post coital bleeding in addition to operative outpatient procedures such as endometrial polyp, fibroid resection and endometrial ablation. Alongside her practice at Spire Parkway Hospital and Spire Little Aston Hospital, Ms Bakali currently sees patients through e-Consultation.
