Dr Emilia Gąsiorowska is a highly skilled consultant gynaecologist and obstetrician with a special interest in cancer screening, based in Oldham, Greater Manchester, and Reading. She specialises in laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and contraception, alongside the management of conditions such as fibroids, ovarian tumours and breakthrough bleeding. She privately practises at Ascroft Medical and Medicare Clinic in the UK, and at Debski Clinic and Premium Medical in Poland. She performs surgical procedures in the field of gynaecological diseases in Poland. She graduated from the Medical University of Poznań in 2007 and later became a specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 2016 and in Gynecological Oncology in 2019. Dr Gąsiorowska’s PhD, awarded in 2016, contributed significantly to the field of gynaecological oncology. Since 2009, she has worked at the Gynecological Oncology Clinic at the Gynecology and Obstetrics Teaching Hospital of the Medical University of Poznań, where she has developed a reputation for her expertise in laparoscopic techniques and early-stage cancer treatment. In particular, she specialises in the laparoscopic management of endometrial cancer, an approach that reduces blood loss, speeds recovery, and improves patient outcomes. She also conducts research and is actively involved in national and international training opportunities, such as completing a recent internship at Imperial College London with Professor Christina Fotopoulou, a renowned specialist in advanced genital cancer surgery. In 2023, she completed a course in Ovarian Cancer Management at the European School of Abdomino-pelvic surgery in Gynaecological Oncology, part of the European Institute of Oncology in Milan, Italy. This internship further honed her skills in advanced techniques, including minimally invasive ones. Dr Gąsiorowska offers a range of diagnostic and treatment services. These include comprehensive gynaecological ultrasound, liquid cytology, HPV detection, and advanced screening for gynaecological cancers. She also provides individualised care for patients with reproductive health issues such as uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, and urinary incontinence.
