About Dr Daniela Herescu

Dr Elena Daniela Herescu is an accomplished and highly revered consultant psychiatrist who specialises in anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, borderline personality disorder, as well as bipolar disorder. She currently practises at the London-based Private Therapy Clinic, and at the Psicon clinic in Canterbury, where she conducts ASD assessments. Dr Herescu, who officially began working as a psychiatrist in 2007, and has a vast amount of experience when it comes to working in both community and inpatient settings. She also possesses a high level of expertise in sexual abuse trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, self-esteem issues, stress, and addiction, but to mention a few. She also provides mental health services for children and teenagers and provides ADHD assessments for adults. Dr Herescu obtained a certificate of completion of training in psychiatry from Romania's University of General Medicine after becoming an official member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists at said university. In her current role, Dr Herescu is responsible for and directly involved with the referral process for the ward, the clinical governance, as well as the supervision of the ward doctor. Dr Herescu has previously worked with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
