Mr Deepak Hariharan is a consultant general and hepato-pancreato-biliary surgeon in London who specialises in gallbladder surgery, liver surgery, pancreas surgery, laparoscopy, hernia surgery and pancreatitis. Mr Hariharan has dedicated himself to improving the quality of surgery and enhancing the patient experience. He has been instrumental in setting up the Hot Cholecystectomy Pathway, which promotes immediate or early gallbladder surgery for emergency cases with symptomatic gallstones. He has also assisted in building an enhanced recovery programme after HPB (hepato-pancreatico-biliary) cancer surgery to advance postoperative care.
