About Miss Claire Bailey

Miss Claire Bailey is a consultant gynaecologist with several practices across Oxford, London, and Warwickshire. She is a certified colposcopist and specialises in vulvodynia, abnormal smear tests, lichen sclerosus, female sexual dysfunction, colposcopy, hormone replacement therapy, and contraception. Miss Bailey qualified in 2003 from St Bartholomew's and The Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry, and has been working in gynaecology ever since. She has been a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at Birmingham City Hospital, where she was also the lead of the specialist vulval service, and hospital lead for colposcopy. Miss Bailey established The Vulval Clinic, a clinic dedicated solely to gynaecological health and the management of vulva disorders, in 2019. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians.
