About Mr Chris Macklin

Mr Chris Macklin is a consultant colorectal surgeon based in Leeds, specialising in haemorrhoid surgery, anal fistula and anal fissures, alongside piles (haemorrhoids), endoscopy and bowel cancer. He privately practices at eXroid in Leeds and his NHS base is Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust. He graduated with a BM BS from the University of Nottingham in 1992, and went on to complete extensive training in Yorkshire, developing his expertise in colorectal surgery. He holds both FRCS and FRCS (Gen Surg) qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons and has also earned a Doctorate of Medicine (DM).
