About Dr Charles Murray
Dr Charles Daniel Raymund Murray is a highly esteemed Consultant Gastroenterologist with extensive expertise in gastroenterology and endoscopy. He is the Clinical Lead of Inflammatory Bowel Disease at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, where he has contributed significantly to advancing patient care and medical education. Dr Murray's clinical interests span conditions such as colorectal cancer, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and functional gastrointestinal disorders. Dr Murray has held prominent roles, including Senior Secretary of the British Society of Gastroenterology and Chair of the Education Committee for United European Gastroenterology and President of the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Section of the Royal society of Medicine. He was awarded the prestigious Moti L. and Kamla Rustgi International Fellowship by the American Gastroenterological Association and recognized as the Functional Brain-Gut Research Group Young Investigator of the Year.
