Dr Bhuwan Roy is a consultant psychiatrist with extensive experience in both the NHS and private healthcare sectors in the UK. He trained at Bangalore Medical College and later gained his MRCPsych, becoming a specialist registered consultant in psychiatry. Over the years, Dr Roy has worked in several reputable institutions, including South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, Kent & Medway NHS, and Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, where he currently serves as associate clinical director. Alongside his NHS role, he practices privately at the Brain Health Clinic in London. Dr Roy's clinical expertise spans a wide range of psychiatric specialties. He has worked with patients experiencing conditions such as adult ADHD, substance use disorders, neuropsychiatric illnesses, and complex mental health issues that may involve forensic or learning disability components. His approach to treatment combines medication management with evidence-based psychotherapies, including Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), allowing him to tailor care to each individual's needs.
