About Dr Anne Farrell

Dr Anne Farrell is a leading consultant dermatologist in Tunbridge Wells who treats both children and adults. Her areas of expertise include acne , skin cancer and moles , laser procedures , skin conditions of the vulva , hair loss and photodynamic therapy . Dr Farrell graduated from Oxford University Medical School in 1989. She gained extensive experience in both adult general internal medicine and paediatrics at the Queens Medical Center, University Hospital of Nottingham. It was here where she obtained membership of the Royal College of Physicians for adults and Diploma in child health. Dr Farrell is one of only a handful of UK dermatologists to have both the adult FRCP and Diploma in child health. Following that, Dr Farrell undertook a graduate fellowship in lasers and cosmetic dermatology at the University of Miami as well as attachments with leading cosmetic laser dermatologists in New York, Philadelphia, Washington, Utah, California and Utah. Throughout her career, Dr Farrell has been active in teaching and researching. She has published more than 80 scientific articles, abstracts and book chapters on a variety of dermatology subjects. She was awarded a higher Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Oxford for her published research thesis and work.
