ProfessorAndrewMcEvoy is a world-leading consultantneurosurgeon, practising at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN), and the Queen Square (GammaKnife) Radiosurgery Centre in London. Listed in The Times top UK doctors for his epilepsy and braintumoursurgery, Professor McEvoy specialises in a wide range of conditions, including braintumours, epilepsy, GammaKniferadiosurgery, spinalsurgery, and trigeminalneuralgia. At the NationalHospitalforNeurologyandNeurosurgery (NHNN), Professor McEvoy leads the neuro-oncology and epilepsy surgery departments. He has an impressive academic background, having obtained a BSc from the UniversityofLondon in 1987 and an MBBS three years later from the same university. He is also a member of the Epilepsy Society and has published and presented extensively both nationally and internationally. With the largest adult epilepsy surgical practice in the UK, Professor McEvoy is also the surgical arm of the Department of Clinical and Experimental Epilepsy, which is one of the most highly regarded epilepsy research groups in Europe.
