He sees private patients at the Cleveland Clinic London, the Queen Square Private Consulting Rooms and the Clementine Churchill Hospital. Dr Trip is co-chair of the Queen Square Multiple Sclerosis Centre and the lead consultant for audit and quality improvement at the National Hospital. He graduated from Edinburgh Medical School before undertaking postgraduate specialist training in neurology in London. He completed a PhD at the UCL Institute of Neurology, which focused on optic neuritis, a common manifestation of MS. From this work, Dr Trip has developed a clinical and research interest in neuro-ophthalmology. He was awarded research funding and supervises a PhD student and clinical trials for patients with multiple sclerosis and optic neuritis. He has produced extensive research work (see link below). Dr Trip’s extensive experience in all aspects of general neurology and multiple sclerosis makes him ideally placed to assess patients with a wide range of undiagnosed symptoms such as headache, numbness, tingling, tremor, weakness, balance/walking difficulty, dizziness, visual symptoms, blackouts/seizures, fatigue and memory problems. He can offer prompt treatment once a diagnosis is made and is also happy to provide a second opinion.
