Mr Alexander Montgomery is a leading consultant spinal and orthopaedic surgeon, with special interests in multidisciplinary back pain management, spinal sports injuries and trauma, degenerative spinal conditions, minimally invasive spinal surgery and complex spinal surgery and deformity. Mr Montgomery qualified from Glasgow University before embarking on a career in London, where he became a highly skilled spinal surgeon. He completed a fellowship in New Zealand where he gained experience treating elite athletes and has extensive experience in minimally invasive surgery as well as in the management of spinal conditions. Mr Montgomery uses the most up-to-date techniques with patient-centred, personalised treatment plans. Highly regarded in his field, he has published widely and given numerous presentations as an invited guest speaker. His research has also been presented nationally and internationally.
