Professor Ahmad Aurakzai is a highly experienced consultant in paediatric neurodisability and neurodevelopment, who specialises in autism, ADHD and sleep disorders. He privately practises at Beacon Autism and ADHD Clinic, where he is the medical director. With over 35 years of experience in paediatrics and nearly two decades dedicated to neurodevelopmental paediatrics, he brings extensive clinical expertise and a longstanding commitment to the care of children with complex needs. Professor Aurakzai holds multiple qualifications and fellowships from respected institutions, including the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. His training has spanned internationally, beginning with his MBBS from Khyber Medical College in Pakistan, followed by specialist paediatric training and postgraduate diplomas in child health and paediatric neurodisability.
