About Dr Adam Januszewski

Dr Adam Januszewski is a medical oncology consultant in central London with specialist expertise in lung cancer, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, clinical trials, chemotherapy, early-stage lung cancer and personalised medicine. He privately practises at Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, while his NHS base is Barts Health NHS Trust, where he also serves as divisional lead for quality and safety at Barts Cancer Centre. Dr Januszewski is a thoracic oncologist with a strong focus on patient-centred care and expanding access to innovative treatments through clinical research. He is the UK chief investigator for several international phase 2 and 3 trials and co-manages the clinical research delivery team at St Bartholomew’s Hospital. His academic background includes a PhD in genomic medicine from Imperial College London and a postgraduate diploma in cancer biology from The Institute of Cancer Research. He is active in shaping national oncology services through his roles on the British Thoracic Oncology Group steering committee, the UK Lung Cancer Coalition and as a NICE technology appraiser. He also contributes to the development of national consent guidance with Cancer Research UK.
