Falls
Falls can happen to anyone, but the risk increases with age or if you have difficulties with mobility. Taking steps to prevent falls can help you avoid injuries and maintain your confidence and independence. If you do fall, try to remain calm. Take a moment to assess any pain or injuries and determine if you feel able to get up. If someone else has fallen, ensure they are comfortable and warm. Assist them in getting up if they are able, but avoid lifting them by yourself. You can contact 111 or seek help through the 111 online service.
