Cavernoma
A cavernoma is a group of unusual blood vessels, primarily located in the brain and spinal cord. These are also referred to as cavernous angiomas, cavernous haemangiomas, or cerebral cavernous malformations (CCM). Typically, a cavernoma resembles a raspberry and contains blood that circulates slowly through vessel structures that resemble "caverns." The size of a cavernoma can range from a few millimetres to several centimetres in diameter.
