Bronchitis
Bronchitis is the swelling of the air passages in the lungs, typically resulting from an infection. It generally improves on its own within about three weeks. Some individuals may experience ongoing inflammation of the airways, referred to as chronic bronchitis, which is classified as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The symptoms of bronchitis can resemble those of a cold or flu. It is commonly triggered by infections that can be easily transmitted through coughing and sneezing.
